Joli Ammons

Joli has helped hundreds of families since 2012 when she began her journey as a doula with an apprenticeship with Kathleen Wilson. She co-authored Rebel Birth Child Birth Education and co-founded Rebel Birth Education and Resource Haven and is the owner of The Painted Doula. She loves to facilitate communication between her clients and their providers, in and out of the hospital, easing the process for all involved. She is married to a wonderful man and has two lovely adopted daughters and several pets who she also considers family. Reading, playing board games, and crocheting are the things that fill her reservoir. To her, doula work isn’t a job, it’s an art form.

Rachel Stonebrook

Rachel is the owner of RadLoveDoula and has been supporting clients through their pregnancy, labor, postpartum experiences since 2012. She has a master’s degree in Women’s, Gender & Sexuality Studies from The Ohio State University and carries over a decade’s worth of experience teaching in higher education on topics related to gender studies, reproductive health & sex education. Stephi is the owner of EverDoula. She has been a doula since 2013. She has completed numerous doula trainings, expanding her skill set every chance she gets, and is currently learning from some of the most experienced doulas in Houston. Stephi loves working with parents who break the mold and grow their families on their own terms. She married the first guy she met who could sing the alphabet backwards and loved books as much as she did, and they’re raising five crazy amazing kids together. She loves to hang upside down and re-pot succulents (just not at the same time). She will try any food you give her.

Kate Vošta

Postpartum Doula

When Kate Vošta became a mother, she realized there was a deficit in how parents are prepared to experience the new world that is Parenthood. Seeking to better understand the connection and care between antepartum and postpartum, she attended a postpartum doula training in 2008. She then immersed herself in supporting new and growing families. Kate’s postpartum doula services come with multiple years of experience with childhood education and development, culinary arts, and hospitality service. She has a passion for the health of the body and soul, and strives to create an environment of comfort, confidence and security for growing families just like yours.

Hannah Goodwin

Nurture&Nourish

Hannah is a certified birth and postpartum doula, specializing in infant care as well as prenatal and postpartum meals. As the owner of Nurture&Nourish Doula and Postpartum Meal Service, Hannah is very passionate about caring for new families as they find their own groove with parenting so they feel confident in responding to their baby’s unique needs and finding a care plan that works for the whole family. Her passion for birth began in Copenhagen, Denmark in 2011, where she studied the local and global sociology of birth with Danish midwives. It was that experience that led her to launch her own doula business in Houston, Texas in 2017. Hannah is also a certified Infant Feeding Specialist from birth to 12 months of age. In recognizing a need for more personal care for new birthing people and their families, Hannah finds joy in creating custom care plans and preparing fresh and nutritious meals during pregnancy and post-birth, because you deserve to be nurtured, too. When Hannah is not working, she loves to garden and raise butterflies with her two young children. When not in the garden, you can often find her hiking, exploring a new city around the world, or perusing the cookbook section at the local library.
